This is a place frequented by charter tourists during season and a local haunt on weekends. Tomatiuh, meaning tomato in Spanish, is a dinner-only restaurant at Sun Village in Arpora. Walk up a flight of steps from the poolside to the deck where the restaurants are situated. Though Tomatiuh serves a multi-cuisine fare, the air conditioned comfort one a fine-dine experience. Recommend you start with the Laziz Malai Tikka, the succulent chicken kebabs are marinated in cream cheese. Or order the Prawn Cocktail – the shrimp Fantasia. The shrimps are soaked in a brandy cocktail sauce. For mains, the Lasooni Jhinga, shrimps fried in onions, bell peppers, curry leaves and Indian spices, or go Continental with the Prawn Provencale. Prawns simmered in tomato sauce and served with spinach rice. The desserts showcase the Coupe Alexander – scoop of ice cream on brandy flavoured fruit salad or perhaps a warm cinnamon and nutmeg cinnamon scented apple pie with a dollop of vanilla ice cream
