Basilios Health Club

Like the name suggests, Basilio’s 7 is more of a fitness centre than a gym, and it's one of the first health club / gym in Panjim. Started on the 31st of March 2002 in the heart of Panaji city, it is more of a passion than a business for its proprietor Aldrin Basilio Soares. Basilios 7 Health Club / Gym is for both; the ones who want to build muscles and for the ones who want to keep fit. It has the heaviest dumbbells ranging from 05 lbs - 120 lbs and is also well equipped. The gym area is around 400 m² which is the biggest gym in Goa and also has another 400 m² on the third floor exclusively for kick boxing / kick aerobics / taekwondo / dance class/ karate / kicks and other forms of activities. In fact kickboxing, spin classes and kick aerobics were introduced for the first time in Goa by Aldrin and Rahim Bernard (United Kingdom). Additional classes can be conducted at Basilios by learned trainers like Tai-chi, Capoeira, boxing etc. - See more at: http://planetgoaonline.com/listing/Basilios-7-Health-Club-#sthash.wKPbVrBV.dpuf
