Canacona

Legend or history – the name Canacona is one of the versions that was derived from the word ‘Konkan’ which itself gets its abbreviation from the Sanskrit word Konvapuram. The Lalit has named its All Day Dining – Canacona; this very name connotes the local place. The design of this restaurant focus is on refurbished art and is strongly influenced by traditional Portuguese décor with a combination of traditional and modern. The interiors and ambience recoup local inspiration of Canacona which includes its art and culture. With the main meals breakfast, lunch and dinner being served with the flair (there is a buffet breakfast operational for in house guests), the menu for this 72-cover restaurant is an inspiration of world cuisine with a contemporary, fusion touch to the items.
