Jamie’s Baga

Set over three levels of seating, “Jamies” on the Baga belt, has a superbly designed garden atmosphere. Ratan Cane roofing and well appointed tables gives a sense of space and quality. The menu is a mix of eclectic world cuisine ranging from specialty barbecue to carefully designed plated main courses. It also has an extensive imported wine list, which is very well priced. It also boasts of ample parking. This is a restaurant that experiments in culinary wizardry. Popular expectations are simple traditional fare or seafood in masala or grilled to tickle the taste buds. Jamie’s holds a promise of ‘great expectations in fine dining'. And you will not be disappointed. For starters try the Char Grilled Beef slices with thai naam plaa and wasabi soy or the Buffalo Chicken Wings with hot sauce and a blue cheese dip. For mains the Wet Aged Fillet Steak with rucola and parmesan shavings. Or the Specialty Bbqd Pork Ribs. For the Vegans jamie’s Spiced Tomato Pasta with organic basil and roasted garlic is worth mention. Jamie’s does not leave you deserted when it comes to the sweet finale. His desserts are one to be tried. Espresso Crème Brulee, this torched up dessert with the espresso twist could combine two courses together. Another favourite is the Dark Chocolate Fudge bars with whiskey and vanilla ice-cream. Your joy cannot be fudged, your expectations will be notched up by a few bars because Jamie adds a new dimension to culinary wizardry.
