Mkoj – My Kind of Joint

This is the only 24-hr open pub-cum-restaurant in the Palolem area where you can head for a late night, post-midnight meal or an early breakfast. MKOJ at Cleopatra Resorts is a popular place with foreigners in the area because it’s open all year and they serve good food too. Many go there for their English breakfast with sausages, ham and eggs and toast, while others go there for their succulent Tandoori grills and super seafood. The Indian dishes like Veg Jalfrezi – a popular dish with foreigners, and Dal Fry, though are a bit wishy-washy, as are the south Indian dishes like Beef Fry’ with the taste best described as Confusion – or Indian food cooked for foreigners. But, on the other hand, they serve decent European style food, like Chicken Roast with potatoes and you can eat and drink here at any time of the day or night, all through the year, which is saying a lot in the Palolem area. They also have a pool table, pub with music, and rooms.
