This modest eatery caters to the likes of everyone. Nelson Heredia’s multi-cuisine menu has much to offer for everyone’s picnic hamper. Try the Prawn Reichade Masala fry: The prawn masala is ground with local spices, a recipe of Nelson’s mother-in-law. The prawns are fresh and cooked to perfection with the right blend of spices – a mouth-watering delicacy not to be missed by any chance. The piece de resistance is the Chef’s special chicken chop. Chomp the chop and you will be licking your chops. The chicken is marinated with a mixture of Reichade Masala and freshly ground spices and a little cashewnut paste. It is done with a twist of Goan flavour, generously flavoured with fresh basil and served with innovative red chutney – something different , not traditional. Chicken Toofani is a great pick from the main course. But take precautions with a name like that – you could get blow away. Nelson’s hamper includes a Thai Red Curry, continental favourites like Beef Steak with Eggs and Chicken Breasts in Mushroom sauce. A global repertoire to picnic on. And for those who believe in a spirited picnic, there is a sports bar in the basement where one can feast on snacks, have drinks and watch their favourite sports on TV. So picnic anytime of the year.
