Pousada by the Beach

You can take a dip in the blue sea with use of the showers and change rooms later, followed by a dip into a relaxed frame of mind and ultimately a dip into lip smacking food creations of the Pousada Tauma chefs. The place is Pousada by the Beach, rustic simplicity combined with designed elegance. Step on fine sand onto ones private sunbathing space, under specifically designed umbrellas, sip on chilled spirits and then relax as the chef works on your meal. A restaurant with a difference – not the conventional table and chairs, lounge bed variety, but a rustic shack combined with fine elegance. A few old antiques around the place adds to its unique charm. If you would like a brunch then there is an a la carte breakfast brunch menu on offer or if it is lunch then you have a multi cuisine choice of Goan, Konkan and continental favourites from the open kitchen. Savour old seafood favourites like Prawn Balchao, or Calamari Peri-Peri or maybe the local Goan Curry Rice. In this rustic elegance, feel free to use your fingers and wriggle your toes in the smooth sand and stretch in delight as you enjoy the seafood delicacies laid out for you. There are other preparations as well like the Fish Banana Leaf or Chicken – grilled or in a xacutti. A light Italian lunch is on the cards too. Dip-dip-dip into the Goan world of natural simplicity!
