A plush beach shack on the serene Betalbatim, not very far away from Colva beach, there’s a lot to choose from at Sea Waves, which overlooks the sea from a raised platform. Their specialty is the Tandoori grills and you can get a whole range of kebabs (grills) like Paneer Malai Kebab (cottage cheese kebabs in cream marination), Mushroom Kebab, Chicken Malai Kebab, Chicken Tandoori and many more done to perfection, besides a good choice of Tandoori breads like naans, kulchas, rotis, paranthas, etc which you can have with North Indian favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala – the most ordered dish here, with the chicken cubes simply melting in your mouth. The place is a big draw with the charter tourist crowd who eat the grilled meats along with their beer and cocktails. Besides these, they serve excellent steaks, both beef and chicken, European favorites like Chicken a la kiev, and chicken Cordon Bleu which oozes with the wine and cheese sauce. Also salads, soups, pastas and starters like bruschettas can be ordered. The portions, specially of seafood, are quite substantial, and you cannot go wrong eating at Sea Waves. Plus juices, milk shakes, breakfast, fruit salads, etc.
