Silver Star is located a little north of the crowed main Colva beach. Head to Silver Star if you’re looking for some quiet and serenity. Though the food is nothing to rave about, it’s the soothing atmosphere which makes this shack an ideal place for a calm day at the beach. The water is only a few meters away and you can lounge around on beach beds with a drink and also have toyr food served there, or you can sit inside the modest shack. We recommend you try the excellent seafood here and you can order lobsters, tiger prawns, pomfret and smaller fishes like squids in either white wine sauce or lemon garlic butter sauce, and in Indian, Tandoori-style or with a fiery Goan masala. The portions served are big and it’s a great value for money place, with around 15 tiger prawns coming in one portion. They also do decent pastas, Chinese and North Indian food.
