Tito’s Courtyard

This is alfresco dining at his best. The style of dining is mostly ‘partly like’ in its atmosphere and the Tito’s courtyard has it all. David and Ricardo de Souza have created this concept. There are white canopy’s that project the diner as they act as a sunshade as well as a decorative tent at night..the florescent white glow adds an ethereal quality to its dimension. The party like atmosphere…well it is situated in Tito’s lane where crowds of party hoppers stream along as it is conveniently sandwiched between two clubs…Mambo’s and Tito’s. Its location so close to the action-oriented beach cajoles the diner to dine in ‘style’ after a romp in the sand…elegant yet casual. And the menu…breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacky tit bits throughout the day. From pancakes and nibbles to curried masalas. For starters from an expensive menu order the Golden Fried prawns or perhaps the mushroom in garlic and mayo. The Titos Tandoori Special is also worth a mention. Tandoori Chicken with bell pepper, onion and pineapple. For mains try the Steak. There is a choice of preparation – the Goan style or the continental style. The Goan style Beef Steak is served with a fried egg on top with its local Goan sauce. On the other hand the traditional Beef Steak is napped with mushrooms, cream and wine and BBQ sauce. Don’t forget totry the chef’s special cocktails too. Besides the regular Mojitos and Pine Colada, the Caipirhana and the Caipiroska are the popular mixes. The Indian section the Murgh Maska Mar ke (the famous makhani) and the Kadai Paneer adds joy to the Indian palate. The Goan preparations grace the menu too. And for those who have not tasted the Goan desserts, try the Bebinca and the platter, it’s a great way to build up the energy before you party till dawn.
