6 Christmas Albums To Keep The Neighbours Awake This December

With so much Christmas music out there, we thought it would be great to compile a selection of some of our favourite Christmas albums and songs.

We have covered an actual combination of genres and musical styles so we’re positive there’ll be something in there for you – and perhaps you’ll even discover some new Christmas albums this year!

Rend Collective – A Jolly Irish Christmas (Vol. 2)

The title of this album is precisely what you have to assume to hear from Rend Collective’s 2020 Christmas albums, though the songs do vary in style, and the release consists of numerous collaborations with the likes of Ellie Holcomb and We Are Messengers woven fantastically into the album.

This launch feels like an ideal combination of basic carols and authentic music, such as Today Is The Saviour’s Day which finds its way into our playlist this year.

Leslie Odom, Jr., The Christmas Album

If I told you that what “Little Drummer Boy”—a song long-since added to the Christmas music canon—needed was the infusion of global music sounds courtesy of the venerated Mzansi Youth Choir out of South Africa, would you believe me? It is the season for miracles, after all.

The Hamilton star was fearless when approaching his 2020 holiday LP, a decision that surprises, and delights. The Christmas album is a merry, merry affair that sparkles with a whole world’s worth of influences.
