Panaji, January 2024 – A vegan Mount Everest conqueror, India’s leading percussion instrument manufacturer, along with award-winning creative personalities, will share their rich perspectives at the upcoming TEDxGIM 2024, scheduled to be held at the Goa Institute of Management’s campus at Sanquelim on February 4.
Themed ‘The Tapestry of Thoughts’, the stellar line-up for TEDxGIM 2024, features passionate and personalised narratives about the rhythmic innovations of Vaibhav Kanwar, founder of CLAPBOX, India’s leading percussion musical instrument brand, the courageous adventures of Prakriti Varshney, a trailblazing vegan mountaineer who conquered Mt. Everest and the aesthetic harmony envisioned by Jhelum Biswas, founder of ‘Jhelum Loves’.
Sephi Bergerson, a multi-award-winning humanitarian photographer renowned for his works like ‘Street Food of India,’ will bring visual narratives to life, while Balaji Vittal, a Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI) and National Award-winning author, Bollywood commentator and public speaker, will add literary depth to the event.
The 2024 theme, ‘The Tapestry of Thoughts,’ aims to explore the rich and diverse landscape of human ideas and experiences. “By independently organising this TEDx event at the Goa Institute of Management, we aim to create a space where passionate minds converge, exploring new concepts that inspire profound discussions. Learning is a lifelong adventure and TEDxGIM is the compass guiding us through the ever-evolving landscape of knowledge and innovation,” according to Dr Ajit Parulekar, Director, GIM.
The TEDxGIM 2024 will also witness captivating performances, including the graceful performance of accomplished Odissi dancer Sumedha Sengupta, the intricate sand artistry of multi-talented artist Venugopal and the soulful notes of leading sarod player Vidushi Debasmita Bhattacharya, known for blending classical tradition with modern innovation.
