Antique Mardol is so crowded during lunchtime that it is difficult to get a table here. This testifies to the popularity of their Goan lunch, prepared by an all-women staff, which comprises six different types of fish, all cooked differently. For dinner, we recommend their Fried Fish that has many regulars vouching for it. The owner has a flourishing fishing business, which explains the easy availability of fresh and best quality fish here. They also have an a la carte Indian, Chinese and European menu but there are hardly any takers for it. Also, they serve a whole lot of thalis like Portuguese Thali, Special Veg Thali, Punjabi Thali and Special Chicken Thali. The eatery’s central location and authentic food ensure a steady flow of customers. Many celebrities frequent this place – photographs of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham, strategically placed behind the cash counter, testifies to this.
