Bebinca (pronounced as Bibinc) is a traditional Goan sweet dish that is usually served during Christmas. This delicious looking dessert usually consists of seven layers. It is made of sugar, coconut, refined flour, egg yolks, and ghee.

Chicken Xacuti

Chicken Xacuti pronounced as “shakuti” is an authentic Goan dish. This mouthwatering dish is best served either with bread or steamed rice. It is cooked with red Kashmiri chilies, poppy seeds, coconut, onion, garlic and spices. Chicken Xacuti is definitely a treat for the taste buds. Try it!

Chicken Cafreal

It is a wonderful blend of Indian and Portuguese cuisine. Before frying the chicken, it is well marinated with a green spice paste. The delightful blend of spices gives this dish a unique taste. Chicken Cafreal is best enjoyed with rice or ‘poi’, a typical Goan bread.

‘Ros-omelette’, ‘ros’ meaning coconut curry, in other words – ‘curry omelet’ is served with either chicken xacuti gravy spread over an egg omelet or a coconut gravy of green peas over the omelet and garnished with onions, lime and coriander.
