The United Basketball Alliance (UBA) is all set to give Goa Basketball a visual treat. When? Between March 10 and 16 in Goa at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium.
UBA is holding its semi-finals and Championship series of Pro Basketball League Season 4, in Goa. The semi-finals will feature the qualifying teams from the North and South Division.
First and foremost Mumbai Challengers and Punjab Steelers qualify from the North Division. Similarly, Pune Peshwas and Bengaluru Beast are making it from the South.
Presently, each team played six games from their own division. Table-toppers earning a semi-finals berth. The second and third team in each division playing an extra play-in game to make it to the semi-finals. All these matches held in Chennai at the Sathyabama University Stadium from February 16 to March 1.
At this point, the Mumbai Challengers and Pune Peshwas topped their divisions with a 5-1 and 4-2 records respectively.
Meanwhile, in the play-in games, the Punjab Steelers (2-4) defeated the Delhi Capitals (4-2) with a 102-92 score line. Moreover, the Bengaluru Beast (3-3) inched away from the Hyderabad Sky (3-3) with a 116-113 win.
The Mumbai Challengers will take on the Punjab Steelers at 4:30 pm. Pune Peshwas will face the Bengaluru Beast at 7:00 pm in the semi-finals on March 10th.

The semi-finals and finals will be in the best-of-three format. Actually, this ensures that the most deserving team wins. Consequently providing the fans with an electric playoff atmosphere. Plenty of star-power will descend upon Goa to compete in the second leg of the UBA Season 4. All four teams are rich with players having international experience.

Mumbai Challengers: Featuring Alex Scales (former NBA player), Jagdeep Bains (Indian international star), Inderbir Gill (Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Player of the Year) and Jimmy Scroggins (USA College player).
Punjab Steelers: Featuring Dermaine Crockrell, (USA college standout who’s scored multiple 50 point games in the UBA Season 4) and Garry Gill (high-flying former Indian U-18 captain).
Pune Peshwas: Featuring Amritpal Singh (has captained India and played professional basketball abroad), Pierre Newton (USA College player) and Narender Grewal (Indian international star).
Bengaluru Beast: Featuring Vishesh Bhriguvanshi (has captained India and played professional basketball abroad), Chris Solomon (USA College player) and Palpreet Brar (only Indian to be drafted in the NBA D-League).
