Café Looda is located right on the beach in South Anjuna, bang in the middle of the Flea Market area. It’s a great place to try Grilled seafood, or simply chill out with a drink and enjoy the fantastic sunsets and azure views of the sea. They have some great live music on Wednesday evenings, the day of the Flea Market. Be it breakfast, snacks, sandwiches, salads, Chinese, Indian, Goan and European food, it’s all available here. The superb Goan-style Seafood Platter and Tiger Prawns Grilled deserve special mention. The Sausage Chilly Fry, Chicken Tandoori, Fish Tikka and Sausage Pulao are also recommended. While North Indian Items like the Dal Fry are well done, the pastas are unremarkable and the Chinese rice and noodles pretty ordinary. Sip some Long Island Tea or Virgin Pina Colada and sway the evening away to the accompaniment of house music. Sunday nights are theme nights. This beach shack is very popular with the tourists and remains always crowded.
