Canaiguinim beach can be found to the south of Betul beach on the way to Cabo de Rama beach. A tiny trail at the foot of the hill close to the Canaiguinim church leads to the shore. The beach has a rivulet that empties right into a lagoon which looks really beautiful. The Beach is situated at a distance of 26 kms from ther city of Margao. The beach has a lot of shade for picnickers because of the large number of palm tree groves at the beach.
Several shacks are available across the road to the beach. The beach has white sands, reddish rocks jutting into the sea and groves of swaying palm trees lining the beach. The beach could be reached simply from Margao by bus, even though the frequency of buses is not high. Perfect spot to go undisturbed, the Canaguinim beach allows you to appreciate the soothing waves of the Arabian sea. The seashore is situated close to town of Quepem Taluka, in the southern area of Goa.
