A British-run alfresco restaurant, Cheeky Chapatti serves primarily European food but its dishes and pickles show the decided influence of Kerala. Still, the English breakfast here is good. We recommend their Mixed Seafood in tomato, garlic and herb sauce. Popular dishes are Kingfish and Shar Pallichathu, both of which are fish steaks, made in traditional kerala masala, and cooked while wrapped in a banana leaf. The availability of seafood depends on the catch of the day. You should check the blackboard, which lists the Special of the day. The eatery also serves some North Indian dishes. Try the Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. An excellent selection of cocktails are also on offer.
