This church is possibly the most well-known church in the capital city of Panjim.

The neatly maintained cobblestone sidewalks and the elegant and tall structure of the Virgin Mary are worth a sight!

The Panjim Immaculate Church homes the historic bell that was removed from the Augustinian ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Grace. During Christmas, the Church is lit up at night and the whole lawn is covered with cribs done by the Parish every year.

Mae De Deus Church, Saligao

A castle-like spectacular building with pure white walls is a visual treat. You shall consider yourself lucky to visit this surreal epitome which houses the phenomenal statue of the ‘Mae De Deus’.

Its embellishment is quite impressive and it can light up any dark night with its breath-taking glowing affair. It brightens after nightfall and lures a large number of visitors, rendering them speechless.

This Church is situated on the by-lanes of Saligao plateau in Bardez Taluka and was built in 1873.

It has the finest Gothic style architecture like no other and is attractively illuminated at night during the Christmas season.

Our Lady of Help Church, Ribandar

You find a small Chapel at the road intersection of Ribandar after crossing the magnificent Patto bridge. The chapel is not great by its architecture or looks.

But its creative cribs that are made by the villagers every Christmas catches your eye more than anything when you pass by that area.

Church of St Lawrence, Agacaim

St Lawrence Church, popularly referred to as Agassaim Church, was dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament and raised by means of the Jesuit missionaries to the north of the Zuari River in the year 1565.

The people from the village come together to celebrate festivities with Christmas being the most spectacular one.

Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Navelim

The Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Navelim, additionally known as Nossa Senhora do Rosaria in Portuguese, was once constructed back in the 1590s.

This is the most populous parish in the Archdiocese of Goa. For Christmas, the interior of the church is superbly adorned whereas the church is covered with fairy lights from the outside.
