One of the better shacks on the left side of the main Calangute beach, D’Silva’s are well-known for their good food. Goan food is their speciality along with Tandoori seafood, steaks and they are one of the few places in Calangute where you will get Israeli food like Hummus, Lafas – wraps with different fillings, and Shaksuka. If you want to have a Goan meal, go for the Fish Curry Rice and get a Stuffed Fish as an accompaniment for that perfectly melodious eating experience. If you’re into meat, try the Goan Sausage Chilli Fry, the spicy Goan sausage further spiced. There’s lots to choose from, though no pastas. A steak will cost you Rs.300, and make sure you ask for the seafood rates in advance because the rates here can be a little high. They also serve decent North Indian and Chinese food too.
