~ The decision follows Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte’s call to airlines and OTAs to incentivise travellers to visit Goa during the monsoons.
The early arrival of the monsoons has not only provided relief from soaring summer temperatures but also brought cheer for travellers, with FLY91 announcing special discounts across its network. The pure play regional airline is offering up to ₹300 off on tickets across 20 routes it currently operates, including five key sectors linking Goa.
The ‘Monsoon Offer’ is valid on tickets purchased between June 1 to June 30 and can be availed for travel until August 31.
The Goa-headquartered airline’s decision to announce the ‘Monsoon Offer’ followed a recent call from Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte to incentivise travellers to visit the coastal state during the monsoons, during when tourist footfalls tend to dip. Khaunte, during a meeting earlier this month, with travel and tourism stakeholders in the state, announced the process of outlining a tourism-focused strategy for the promotion of Goa during the monsoon season, with the convergence of airline partners and Online Travel Agencies (OTA) to drive growth in the travel sector.
The discounted fares apply to flights connecting Goa (GOX) with Hyderabad (HYD), Jalgaon (JLG), Agatti (AGX), Pune (PNQ), Sindhudurg (SDW) and Solapur (SSE). Additional routes covered under the discount fare campaign include Pune–Sindhudurg, Bengaluru–Sindhudurg, Hyderabad–Sindhudurg, Jalgaon-Hyderabad, Jalgaon-Pune and Goa–Solapur, incentivising travellers travelling on the sectors during the monsoon season.
“The one-month ‘Monsoon Offer’ is FLY91’s way of making regional air travel more accessible and affordable during the season. With tourist footfalls typically dipping during the monsoons, this initiative is aimed at incentivising travel to Goa while supporting the state government’s broader strategy to promote it as a vibrant, all-season destination, including during the monsoons,” said Manoj Chacko, MD and CEO of FLY91.
Headquartered in Goa, FLY91 currently connects the coastal state to Pune, Hyderabad, Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, and Agatti (Lakshadweep). Operating a growing fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft from its base at Manohar International Airport (GOX), the airline is focused on seamless, efficient, and customer-centric regional flying.
With a roadmap to connect over 50 cities across India in the next five years, FLY91 continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing last-mile connectivity and boosting regional tourism.
