Goa State Election Commission has organised an ‘ EPIC Selfie Contest ’. The commission wants to encourage the youth to register themselves in the electoral roll through this contest. The participants stand a chance to win latest electronic gadgets.
What to do to participate?
A person needs to click a selfie with their Elector Photo Identity Card (EPIC) or a Form 6 (enrollment form). They have to then submit the picture as a message to the official facebook page of the Chief Electoral Officer. October 7 at 7.00 pm is the deadline for submitting the pictures.

“Those with the EPIC selfie stand a chance to win a Redmi Note 3, JBL Flip 3 and a 1TB External Hard Disk,” the commission said. (Source: The Indian Express)

Student interns working in the office of the State Chief Electoral Officer suggested the EPIC Selfie Contest. “It’s about motivating the new generation to enrol in the Electoral Roll and be a participant citizen,” said Kunal, Chief Electoral Officer. (Source: The Indian Express)
