Hollant Beach, Hollant is called by the name of the nearest village. It is a perfect place for solitude and amateur fishing. Issorsim is another great beach inhabited by corals of all types and colours. The colonies of hard corals, various marine fauna and the proximity of a huge diving centre in Bogmalo. Hollant Beach fans are the main attraction of underwater adventures and photography. On some days the water is so clear that corals can be seen from the seashore with the naked eye. It is possible during the season which lasts from October till May. It is very picturesque and vivid at Hollant beach during the high water when the saltwater of the Indian Ocean meets freshwater flowing near the creek.

Hollant Beach Goa located in South Goa close to Bogmalo is the only beach in Goa where one can witness a sunrise. Covered in tender sheets of golden sand, the pristine seashore affords terrific views of the southern coast of Goa along the playful foothills of the Western Ghats, forming a surreal scenic panorama.

Nestled in the Western Ghats, high tide at Hollant Beach is enchanting when one can see the rising waters of the sea merge with the fresh waters of a nearby stream. These waters are considered safe for swimming due to the lack of currents, and kayaking is a common activity here. When the water is clear, one can see colonies of coral and the rich marine life of the Arabian Sea. For seaside amusement, one may engage in the water sports services or relax by this special strip of Goa.

Hollant beach is also known as a suitable place for one of the most popular water sports activities in Goa, especially kayaking. On the beach, as well as on the road which leads to the airport, there are some kayaking centers which provide all the necessary equipment. The colonies of hard corals, various marine fauna and the proximity of huge diving are some adventurous activities you can do.

Safety at Hollant Beach Goa:
Always Swim between Red and Yellow Flags, as this area is safe and constantly watched by the Lifeguards.
Red Flags mean No Swimming, which means this beach is closed and dangerous.
Do not mix alcohol/Drugs with Swimming, as 80% of drowning victims are between the age of 20 to 40 and have consumed alcohol or drugs.

If in trouble, do not panic. Just raise one arm and wait for the lifeguard to rescue you.
Never Swim after Sunset.
Never Swim Alone.
Keep your cell phone in your luggage or hand it to another person before going in the water.
In case of crimes, victims are advised to report to the nearest Police Station.

How to Reach Hollant Beach Goa:
You can either hire yourself some transport or use public transport, there are lots of choices available. For taxis, motorbike taxis and auto rickshaws you can nearly always find some available nearby and it’s best to negotiate the price before you get in. The nearest Train station is Vasco Railway Station, but it depends on whether the train starts or ends here else Margao Railway Station will be nearest for you. To reach Hollant from Vasco-da-Gama or Margao, you can either take a local bus or taxi. If you are planning to just have a ride then either take a Taxi, Cab or rent a Bike. So you can view all the nearest beaches and other attractions.
