A well-appointed restaurant , Horse Shoe is located in a quaint and homely place overlooking the serene Ourem creek in Panaji. This Portuguese-Goan speciality restaurant is supervised by owner-chef Vasco Silveira who dishes out excellent Feijoado and Kingfish Escabeche…one of the few restaurant to do so.For starters, you can choose between the Squids Butter Garlic and the Lemon Pepper Mussels.The Portuguese preparation Bacalhau is the signature dish of the restaurant , but you can also savour preparations like the Peixe Molho de Alhose Manteiga, Fish Balchao, Feijoada and Galinha Peri Peri. Order a bottle of Portuguese wine to complement the meal. The must-try dessert here is the Bolo Sans Rival, which is a cashewnut cake. They remain closed on Sundays and on Mondays open only for dinner.
