practices, reiterated its commitment to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability on the occasion of World Environment Day.

IHCL’s sustainable initiatives across its properties in Goa is integrated into all aspects of operations, from waste management to energy efficiency. Key practices include water conservation, wherein hotels operate sewage treatment plants (STPs) with ultra-filtration systems, ensuring zero discharge of wastewater and 100% reuse for irrigation. Additionally, rainwater harvesting systems are employed to recharge groundwater. Effective waste management involves bio-composting of food waste and responsible disposal of waste oil and batteries through authorised sources. Energy efficiency measures such as the use of acoustic insulation for DG sets, eco-friendly chemicals in housekeeping, and chemical-free cooling tower systems are implemented to reduce environmental impact.
