Panaji, December 2023 — Hundreds of professional bikers, thousands of bike enthusiasts and a multitude of launches converged together with culinary and musical extravaganzas to go into the making of the 10th edition of the two-day India Bike Week (IBW) 2023, which concluded at Vagator recently.
IBW 2023, which through December 8 and 9, hosted its biggest edition yet, celebrated motorcycle culture, encapsulating the theme ‘Everyone as One’ through the unbreakable bond of brotherhood among the biker community.

IBW 2023 embraced the racing spirit with tracks designed for motorcyclists who relish intense racing challenges, with Harley-Davidson, Hero and Triumph offering an ‘Arrive and Race’ feature at the Flat Track, Hill Climb and Mud Rush, adding an extra dose of adrenaline for racing enthusiasts present at the event.
The curation at the Vagator event was also marked by the narration of compelling personal stories of great Indian and foreign bikers, who have stood their own in the biker universe thanks to their drive, initiative and determination as they powered through roads in India and abroad.
The venue at Vagator was divided into five main segments. The Main Stage included events like ‘Meet the Bikers’, ‘Manufacturer Parades’, ‘Mod Bike Ride-up’, ‘IBW Collectors Corner’, motorcycle announcements, launches, among other events and the Ladakh Tent, which featured events like a panel discussion with travel creators, shooting reels and riding, talks by experienced bikers and more.
The Howling Dog Bar section featured an eclectic mix of conversations with biking communities and meeting women biking enthusiasts at ‘She rides. She works.’. The Club Village hosted exciting club games for the motorcyclists.
The Big Trip, a platform that celebrated the spirit of epic motorcycling adventure, had bikers Noor (Nomadic Hijabi Rider) talking about her experiences of breaking stereotypes of a Muslim woman riding a motorcycle and Arjun Raina (MotoExotica India) expressing his journey in breathing to life his passion for motorcycles. Juvena Huang (The Wandering Wasp) spoke about her travels on her trusty Vespa and couple Simon and Lisa Thomas narrated about their motorcycling journey together over 17 years.
The electrifying music lineup featured Nucleya, Gully Gang, Disco Kid, Gurbax, Nash, Vipin Mishra Project and others. Attendees were treated to an eclectic fusion of Hip Hop, electronic beats, retro tunes and soulful performances, ensuring an unmissable and stunning experience.
Bikers had the opportunity to savour delicious food at the IBW 2023 via The Big Forkers Meat Fest, celebrating the art of curing, grilling, smoking and barbecuing meats in India, right from the Goan chorizo to whole hog roasts, which grill masters Alistair Lethorn, Arjun Sikdar, Christopher Fernandes, Delzad Khurshad Avari, Buland Shukla and Charlton Mendes served at the event.
