Across India, there is no dearth of fantastic cuisine to try out. From North India to South India, the cuisine varies in flavor and texture and opens up brand new worlds to those that enjoy a good meal. Of course, a dish is only as good as the person that prepares it. Given that Goa is also a foodie’s paradise, it’s no wonder that so many chefs have visited our tiny state to hone their craft. Keeping all this in mind, chefs from across the country will gather in Goa for the prestigious annual Indian Chef Awards 2018.
The annual Indian Chef Awards at VMSIIHE
The event takes place in Goa at the V.M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education in Raia, South Goa. VMSIIHE is known to be one of India’s premier hospitality education institutes and is proud to host this event on campus.
A regional selection process was followed wherein chefs from cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Kolkata, Delhi / NCR, and Ahmedabad prepared dishes that will be judged. Now, all will descend on Goa where the grand finale will be held on the 25th of October, followed by the Indian Chef Awards 2018 ceremony on the 27th of October. All the participating chefs will compete against the best in the industry and are to be judged on several criteria.
