Drive down towards Saligao and get ready for some culinary adventure. Don’t expect to see Indy at the entrance (reference to Indiana Jones), but some great Indian styled food. With décor in red and blue one wall lit with flickering candles, its simple opulence gives one a premonition of the culinary adventure to follow. You will be presented with a chopping board which holds the menu. Shikangi (welcome drink) is served as you browse through the menu. The Tamatar Dhania ka Shorba is a definite recommendation. Also recommend is Bhuni Mirch aur Makai ka Shorba. The Galouti Kebab, the Murgh Malai Kebab and the Broccoli Marinated with cream and cheese is a delight. For mains try the Sikhander Raan, enough to cater to 4 persons. Accompany it by the Laccha Paratha and Peshawari Roti.
Traditional favourites like the Dili Butter Chicken and Dal Indian Jones (Shades of the Bukhara) and a must order. The chaats are also fabulous, uniquely chosen and well prepared. Murmiree ki Thandi Bhel they even have ice shaving sprinkled on it during the day, Dahi Papdi Chaat… Karana Palak Chaat. The preparations are great. Watch the waiter soak a dry pellet in water to get your insta napkin after a meal… Indymazing So like Indly embark on that adventurous trail, the gourmet in you will not be disappointed.
