Innova Solutions (Innova), a global technology and digital transformation solutions provider, donated 48 bicycles to children from rescue and shelter homes of the El Shaddai Charitable Trust. The bicycles were specially assembled by Innova employees during the “Gift A Smile – Gift a Bicycle” workshop at the company’s High Achievers’ SUMMIT in Goa.
The ‘Gift a Smile’ workshop was part of the company’s CSR initiative and aligns with Innova Foundation’s objective of providing care and support for the underprivileged and serving those in need at a local level.
400 employees from Innova assembled and donated 48 bicycles to children from El Shaddai. All assembled bicycles were checked for quality and safety standards before being handed over. This would enable more than 500 children at the rescue and shelter homes to enjoy access to the bicycles.
Pradeep Yadlapati, Country Head – India, Innova Solutions and Sanjeev Sardana, COO, Innova Solutions handed over the bicycles to the children. Speaking on the occasion, Pradeep said, “At Innova Solutions, we strive to be a partner than a donator to the communities we live in. These small gifts of generosity create a big impact through the smiles and hope they generate.”
The children looked overjoyed and expressed emotions as they received their gifts. One commented, “We will now take our bicycles to school as we have always walked our way.”
