Located below the lobby level of Majorda Beach Resort and overlooking the landscaped gardens and lawns is Laguna. As the name suggests, this place is a lagoon of a la carte cuisine. Open for lunch and for dinner, this multi-cuisine restaurant offers a choice of Indian, European and Goan cuisines. It will be difficult not to get satiated with such a variety. For starters try the Warm Seafood Salad. The brandy flavoured seafood is served hot and garnished with sauté onion rings, served in scallop shell. If Indian is your choice it’s the Mahi Tikka Azwaini (a flavour of aniseed and served with a tandoori salad). Seafood lovers – go Goan – try the Stuffed Crab, tossed in Goan Masala and baked in its shell with cheese.

For mains the continental Fillet de Pomfret Belle Meunier is recommended. Topped with mushroom slices and capers, the parsley butter sauce adds zest to the fish. For chicken, it’s the fondue. While meat lovers rejoice with the Mixed Meat Grill. End the meal with Goan favourites…Bebinca or the stuffed pancake. Or the traditional hot and cold Baked Alaska. With flavours like this you will be encased in a lagoon of tried and tested favouriyes.
