Yes it is a Lounge, but with chef Prakyuth is awesome as inspiration takes precedence over traditional fare, with starters, mains and the most awesome desserts playing havoc with your gastronomic longings. The lounge has two areas for dining…an open air space with a drape for conversation styled bar and the air conditioned venue with private dining rooms where the bar is fully displayed. White… that is the ambience. Up on the terrace white canopied tents for lounging , or you could choose the tables set at intervals for the propah style of dining. The starters – the shis Tuna Tratare with tomato jelly will make your tongue hanging loosely in your mouth. Served with small crisp toast, the tomato jelly combines beautifully with the tuna paste. Another all time favourite is the Bruschetta. Topped with plum tomato, basil, olive oil and parmesan cheese – it’s an all palate favourite.
Some popular preparations like the Pesto Chicken satay with sauve vierge ( a combo of pan Asian and Italian flavours with French Salsa)and the Beer Battered Fish with tartare sauce are also prepared for the die-hard traditionalists. The mains…The Basa Wrapped King Prawns with pink basil sauce and the Risotto are mouth watering fare.The Tenderioin Steak in Columbian coffee sauce is another hot favourite. As for the desserts…the Kalhua Chocolate Olive Oil Mousse, served with a paint brush is mind blowing. With a feeling like this one might feel that the portions are too small.
