Martin’s is a well-known, shack restaurant on the outskirts of Panaji and has been around for more than three decades now. It used to have excellent views of the waves crashing on the beach below, but the overgrown vegetation cover has blocked most of the view. The small menu here is exclusively Goan Catholic cuisine, with a particular emphasis on seafood. There are the usual Goan favourites like Mussels fry, which is shell-fish crumb-fried with a light seasoning, Masala Prawn Fry, Beef Roast, Tongue Roast and Pork Sorpotel. Stuffed Pomfret and Kingfish Fry are specially items. The Special Prawns Curry Rice is extremely well prepared.
