An empire spanning over 60 decades, Monginis is a well-known brand in the world of cakes, confectionaries and savory pastries. Early in the 20th century, two Italian brothers ran a catering service in Mumbai’s Fort precinct, which was popular with the city’s European residents. After that, it was taken over in 1956 under the ownership of Hussein Khorakiwala and his family and came to be known as Monginis Foods Ltd. Since then, the family has worked hard to build the brand into what it is today. The company is an Indian pastry and bakery chain with outlets all over India as well as in Egypt. In Egypt, the brand has called itself Monginis Bakery producing chocolates, cakes, pastries and oriental sweets.
Monginis has stayed a much loved and popular brand through the years thanks to their hard work and excellent service. The brand has core values such as 1) offering all their products and services with the same love, care, and affection as if, they were meant for the most beloved person, 2) making sure that all their customers, stakeholders, and business partners, suppliers and employees are satisfied.
