If you’re looking for a quieter beach shack on the normally riotous Calangute beach stretch, head to Moonlight Beach Shack. To get there, take the left turn at the main Calangute beach circle, head inwards and then take the right to the beach. You can expect a warm friendly service in this family-run shack and of course, wholesome food. Obviously Goan food is the speciality here and we recommend the Fish Curry Rice and Masala-fried Prawns to start with. There’s lots of fresh seafood to choose from and they also do a decent English breakfast and juicy steaks, besides fresh juices and shakes. They also offer guest rooms close to the beach at modest rates.
