The secluded sought Anjuna beach is a big favourite with the alternative crowd and is only accessible on foot. A good place to spend you day on the beach there is at O’Manuelo’O shack which is a wooden platform perched on stilts right over the beach. The setting is simple yet chic, the service brisk and friendly and the food above average. You cannot go wrong here with the seafood. Try the King prawns, or Kingfish either in European-style Garlic Butter Sauce or Tandoori or with the fiery Goan masalas (sauces), all done to perfection. Each and every table has a view to die for. They also have pastas and steaks, which are also quite delicious.
