Rose Garden is one the oldest establishment in the Anjuna are. Proprietor John D’souza has built in rental rooms, wi-fi, gymnasium and a juice bar. The alfresco restaurant is quite popular with the regular Anjuna crowd, and has a varied, multi-cuisine menu, though their speciality is international food, apart from good Goan and tandoori. You should try the Israeli Chicken schnitzel which is Mediterranean-style fried chicken steak with a sesame seed coating, served with chips and salad, and a substantial meal in itself. Very light in flavour. They also serve Lafas, Israeli wraps or rolls, with different fillings. Also popular here are the Tibetan Momos, steamed dumplings with various kinds of filings and Thukpa, the Tibetan noodle soup. They also serve good pastas, Chinese soups, rice and noodles and some good seafood too. The service can be a bit slow though, depending on the season.
