Saraswat Cuisine is the traditional food of the Saraswati Brahmins from the Konkan Region alongside the western coast of India. For the third year running, this Saraswat Cuisine Food Festival will be held at hotel Cidade de Goa, from September 2 to September 9.
The Goan Saraswat cuisine values simplicity above anything else and that is why it seamlessly unifies elements that are easily available in the locality with traditional homemade masalas. Executive Sous Chef Gangadhar Behra said, “This is the third year and during the festival one will get to enjoy khatkhatem, moongachi ghati, ambade, uddamethi, keleanchi fodi, puri, mangane, modak and more, to your hearts content.”
