Spellbinding Performances Highlight GIM’s ‘Inception 2024’ Cultural Fest

~ Inception 2024, the annual cultural fest hosted by the Goa Institute of Management (GIM), drew over 1,500 attendees. 

~ Well-known singers and songwriters, Tushar Joshi and Shreya Jain, performed at the festival, at the B-school’s campus in Sanquelim.

Inception 2024, the popular annual cultural, music and food fest hosted by the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) at Sanquelim, drew to a close recently, with over 1,500 attendees participating in the two-day weekend festivities.

The event, held at the institute’s campus in Sanquelim, featured captivating performances by renowned artists like Shreya Jain and Tushar Joshi, both well-known singers and songwriters, who entertained the audience.

“Inception 2024 was not just an event but a testament to the creativity and passion of the GIM students who organised it. This event underscores our commitment to providing a platform for students to showcase their skills and passion,” said Dr. Ajit Parulekar, Director, GIM.

The festival showcased a variety of talents, with highlights including the ‘Feet on Fire’ dance competition, ‘Melody & Muse’ singing contest and dynamic solo and duo dance performances of Just Duet, which were won by ROI and Baby Sarcs, Lucky Chaudhary, and Nitisha Bharadwaj, respectively. The stylish ‘Melange’ fashion show added another layer of glamour to the festivities.

Beyond the performances, the event boasted a tempting array of food stalls offering a wide range of culinary delights, enhancing the festive ambiance. The menu was incredibly diverse, including Italian, Arabian, Chinese and Indian cuisines, with stalls representing popular eateries, such as Pizza Marcello, Poi Re, Wow Momos, Sufikhana, Mr. Busquo, Elrow, Chaat di Hatti and Scoops and Shakes.
