A permanent fixture on the main Candolim road where restaurants pop up in new avatars every year, Spice Garden, with an indoor Seating area and an outdoor garden area is a good place to visit for a robust meal. A board in front advertises their Giant Crabs,which are the size of a big plate and you can ask them to cook it in the Butter Pepper Garlic style or have it barbequed in the tandoor with some spicy masalas. This family-run restaurant links North Goan Cuisine with South Goan food, along with the Aberdeen steak House serving Tenderloin, Chateaubriand and a 1 kg Fillet Steak.The speciality of the house is Surf & Turf that consists of five large Tiger Prawns and steak for Rs.750. Their Seafood platter is also popular. Other specialities here include the steaks and English-style European food,with fish ‘n’ Chips topping the charts .Truly a great place for Continental food.The staff make sure there is a warm, friendly atmosphere.
