Shiva is just a place for a quieter outing on the Arambol beach. Located right next to the lake at the northern end of Arambol, this shack serves decent quality food which you can eat as you enjoy the action on the small isolated beach with the Bohemian crowd sun-bathing, swimming, doing yoga or simply walking around. They serve a sumptuous Full English Breakfast with baked beans, but no meats. They also offer some decent bruschetta, the Italian-style breads topped with all kinds of seafood and veggies. There’s a Healthy Breakfast that comes with muesli and fruit salad, and the Indian Breakfast complete with Aloo Parantha, pickle and subzi. Picks of the menu are Isreali Schnitzel, the fried, chicken steak-like dish, Lafas, which are chapatti-style rolls with fillings and some excellent seafood, done in your choice of sauce. Other specialities include Khadai Chicken, Prawn Curry, Falafel and Manchurian. You can also hire a deck bed and enjoy your meal right on the beach.
