WHAT HAPPENED?

A woman had gone for a yogic massage at Agarwal’s School of Holistic Yoga and Ayurveda at Korgao village on the 2nd of February 2017. But what actually happened there was unbelievable. It completely shocked everyone who got to know about the incident.

Police Inspector – Rahul Parab – said the complainant claimed Agarwal also raped a Canadian girl who had visited the yoga teacher for a massage.

“The tourist arrived in Goa on January 31 to attend a seven-day yoga teacher’s training course with the accused yoga teacher. She came across the course which was advertised on a website and had registered for it online. The course package included stay and meals. The woman came to Goa, along with a group of seven persons from other countries,” a police officer told TOI.

The victim claims to register online from a website featuring the course at Agarwal’s School of Holistic Yoga and Ayurveda. On research, a particular website mentions Tantra as one of the styles of yoga at that school.
