Seeking a more meaningful and creative path, he and his wife Reshma chose to leave the corporate world and relocate to Goa. The move marked more than a change of address; it signaled a shift in priorities. The studio’s beginnings were refreshingly organic. While designing their first Airbnb property, Shafi and Reshma struggled to find furniture that felt authentic and well-made. Most available options were mass-produced, lacking character and individuality.
