Located at one of the busiest parts of Candolim,the Mango Grove is a chic alfresco-style restaurant on the busy Candolim main road and a great place for people watching. You can silt here all day and watch the world go by as you sip your beer and nibble on some of the great food served here. A superb full English breakfast will cost you Rs.300 and comes with Heinz beans, bacon, eggs and toast, coffee and juice, with everything done just right. Fish ‘n’ Chips comes for Rs.250 the fish served being kingfish. The house specials are king prawns so go for the outstanding Mango Grove Home Salad (Rs.180 which comes with king prawns with white wine vinegar and pepper dressing or the Mango Grove Special Pasta which also comes with king prawns. They also have Chinese food, North Indian, Tandoori and probably the largest variety of rotis and naans (Indian-style breads) in the Candolim area. Their Goan food is completely authentic and delicious, so if you’re in the mood for a Goan fish curry rice, go for it here
