The Varca beach is a breathtaking strip of white sand replete with outcrops of volcanic rocks. The beach is quite a magnificent sight to see with the foaming waves crashing against the rocks and washing up against the sandy shore.
Known locally as the “Fatrade” or “Pedde”, Varca is one of the longest beaches in the entire Goan province of Salcete. The beach is very clean and tidy and offers a great view of the ocean. Dolphins are regular visitors here, frequently leaping above the ocean surface in spectacular displays of their acrobatic skill. A number of shacks are present here, offering authentic Goan food and beverages. Varca is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday.
