Vishnu Surya Wagh, the former Deputy Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly and the former MLA of St. Andre constituency arrived in Goa today after spending seven months recovering in a Mumbai hospital. Wagh had suffered an heart attack on August 15, 2016 and had been hospitalised ever since.
The former Deputy Speaker was initially admitted to the Goa Medical College (GMC) in Bambolim but had to be shifted to Mumbai as his condition continued to deteriorate. Last month his wife Aruna had posted pictures of him from the hospital on a social networking site. These were first photos of him after his condition had stabilised.
