This restaurant is located on the grounds of the W Hotel in Vagator, in a nice location close to the beach. The atmosphere on the ground floor is excellent, with sounds of the sea adding to the vibe of the place. The restaurant has a dining area on the terrace, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and some pleasant sea breeze. The food and service provided over here are simply amazing.

The menu over here features several mouthwatering appetisers such as chicken tom Kha soup, chicken dumplings served in chilli oil, spicy lobster sushi, chicken gyoza, lotus stems, and tofu.

For the main course, one can try the Kung pao chicken served with dry chillies and peanuts, and Balinese prawn curry with cashew nuts. For meat lovers, the wok-fried lamb served with baby potatoes and chilli oysters is a good option. Thai style asparagus served with chilli and basil is a good option for those who are vegetarian.

This is a garden-style bar and restaurant located just a stone’s throw away from Ozran beach in Vagator. It commenced operations in November 2020, just a few months after the economy started to reopen. The restaurant is a family-run enterprise that has a theme centred around sustainability. The restaurant features several items that have been refurbished into new items and put into service again in a new way. For example, an old fishing boat has been transformed into a beautiful bar, fallen tree trunks have been upcycled into stylish lamps and discarded Old Monk bottles are given a new life as ingenious serveware. 

The day-to-day operations of this unique boutique bar and restaurant are handled by four members of the Thapa family—mother Anushree is in charge of the well-crafted menu, which features delicious goodies and refreshing drinks. Her daughter, Aneesha, who designed the restaurant, handles the bar, where cocktails come infused with homemade bitters and shrubs, while the father and son take care of logistics and reservations, respectively. 

Salaam – Indo Arabic Lounge

The restaurant has lounge-style seating with low glass tables and sofas to relax and enjoy some nice Arabic dishes. The outdoor seating area has suspended umbrellas which help in shielding guests from the hot sun. There is also a live grill where meat and chicken dishes are roasted right in front of the customer’s eyes. They also have an air-conditioned seating area inside. 

The restaurant offers a combination of popular Arabic and North Indian Mughlai dishes. For the main course, you could try their veg mezze platter, which consists of Arabic Hummus, which is a nice chickpea dip served with bread. You must also try the Baba Ganoush, which is roasted eggplant, cooked with olive oil and lemon juice, and served with onions, tomatoes, and other vegetables. Their Greek salad with olives and feta cheese serves as a nice supplementary dish to your meal. The cheese in the salad entwines with the flavour of oregano and olive oil, and every portion is large enough for 2 persons.
