Brittos Goa restaurant is located on Baga Beach and was started by the current owner namely Cajetan’s father, Dominic Britto, in 1961. He was a professional chef and he started the restaurant in a small way with just four tables. It was no more than a small shack. Today this restaurant boasts of an elegant interior as well as magical al fresco dining area. It attracts visitors not just from Goa, but from all over the country and the Globe. In fact the restaurant sees a regular crowd of international visitors.
The restaurant today attracts large number of crowds. One has to come early to get a place and the waiting time is quite a bit. However patrons don’t mind the wait as they know that the food they will enjoy later will be worth the time and effort. The restaurant has different themes on different nights. There is live entertainment, Karoke, barbeque and much more. The music is an absolute delight and they play traditional Goan music to the latest international numbers.

They also serve cocktails as well hard liquors. The restaurant serves a wide range of desserts and the owner has also put up a stand also dessert shop.
This beach shack is large enough to host families and large groups. The atmosphere is always genial, and there are candlelit tables and beautiful rice lights all around. The whole restaurant has a good vibe that gels with the ‘Goan’ take it easy attitude. This truly is one place that you would like to keep visiting time and again. In fact some patrons have been coming here ever since the restaurant started, such is their fan following!
