Cansaulim Beach is a great place for picnics for long stayers, it is also admired by tourists for its peaceful and scenic beauty. Located between Colva Beach and Bogmalo Beach, it is very close to Dabolim Airport as well as Margao making it a perfect destination for peace lovers. Cansaulim Beach is Part of India’s second longest beach stretch, it is a beautiful little stretch of golden sand and palm groves. Along with the adjoining Arossim Beach, it acts as an extension of the massive Velsao beach stretch. This idyllic little beach is a hotbed for watersports and is considered one of the best beaches in Goa for water sports. Visitors can also engage in lessons and training for the same at this site.

For the more relaxed tourists, this beach is perfect for lounging around on the sand, having a picnic, strolling, and sunbathing by the ocean. Children can be seen splashing around the water and making sandcastles, enjoying the bliss of this beach. Those who want to indulge in a bit of culture on their vacation can head to St. Thomas Church, a beautiful and incredible testament to the Portuguese influence on the local architecture. The legendary Three Kings Church also known as Our Lady of Remedios Chapel is close to this beach, situated atop the Cuelim Hill. The annual feast of the church, organised for nine days starting from the 6th of January, is a grand and festive affair that sees a great level of enthusiasm and participation from the locals as they rejoice. The Three Kings Church is also a wonderful location for one to have a panoramic view of the massive coastline of Goa.

Although the beach is quite peaceful yet there are a number of activities one can carry out here. The water activities in Cansaulim Beach include catamarans, windsurfing, scuba diving, fishing, parasailing and jet – skiing.

Shopping in Cansaulim Beach Goa
There are small shopping centres in Cansaulim Beach which are not happening. Some good names include Nagoa market, Mavany’s Emporium, and Queen Nagar Market. These sell artificial jewellery, fashion clothes, simple souvenirs, local beer, and takeaways. Nothing special can be found in the local markets of Cansaulim. If you are looking for something exotic then Madgaon market which is not very far from Cansaulim is a better place to shop from.

How to Reach Cansaulim Beach Goa
Canasulim does not have its own railway station. The nearest railway station is Madgaon which is 41 km from Candolim. 5 trains reach the station including Rajdhani express, Kerla S Kranti, Trivandrum Rajdhani, and Goa Sampark Express. To reach Cansaulim beach, one can hire a cab. From Goa airport one can hire a taxi.
