Hansa Beach is a small, exclusive and secluded beach bounded by cliffs on one side and the sea on the other. It’s a steep climb down to the beach from the top. Almost all the stretches of this beach are owned by the Indian Naval unit of INS Hansa. Being a naval base, access is restricted to certain areas. It is one of the cleanest beaches in Goa as it is managed and governed by the Navy. The Navy personnel have access to the beach with their families. However if the patrolling sentry is in a good mood a small portion of the beach is permitted for use.
Tourists can visit this beach during festivals and other special occasions.
