Panaji, July 2023: After more than a decade of live Gospel Music performances in Australia, Europe, North America and Asia renowned singer, songwriter, author and Catholic priest Fr. Rob Galea will now perform live in Goa at Pilar.
His live performance in Goa, is being organised by the Pilar Music Academy and is an initiative of the Goa Province (Society of Pilar).
Fr. Rob Galea, who is globally renowned for his mastery over the contemporary worship music genre, is also known for his use of music as an important instrument in helping people understand the need for intimacy with God.
“The Pilar Music Academy is proud to host Fr. Rob Galea to perform in Goa. Through his music, he proclaims Love, Hope and Peace. Fr. Rob Galea who is a spiritual icon has also a global following,” said Fr. Mateus Fernandes, Provincial Superior of Goa Province and also the chief coordinator of the event which will be held on September 9, 2023 at 6pm at Pilar.
Maltese by origin, Fr. Rob later moved to Australia and rose from the brink of addiction and depression in his teens to become a Catholic priest, who uses music to reach out to people. He is also the founder and executive director of FRG Ministry, a charity organisation which reaches out to nearly 14 lakhs followers across the world.

Rob Galea.
He has performed in Sydney, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Indianapolis, Poland, Vancouver, Panama City, etc and has eight music albums to his credit. Apart from several television appearances to his credit, Galea’s book ‘Breakthrough’ is intended to be released as a Hollywood movie in 2025.
Pilar Music Academy is the music ministry of the Goa Province of the Society of Pilar. It is a charitable institute aimed at promoting music and showcasing talents particularly of the youth of Goa.
